Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000

Montage is looking for a seasoned Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing agency. Qualified candidates will help shape cross-channel creative strategies and design compelling communications both online and off. The role serves as part of Montage Marketing Group’s creative team and reports to the Director of Creative Operations.

About the Role

Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, the Senior Graphic Designer will work cross-functionally to produce both internal and external marketing materials for Montage Marketing Group. In partnership with the Director of Creative Operations, you will develop physical and digital designs for a variety of channels, including direct mail, email, collateral, signage, video, and web. You will also support creative execution of live engagement such as exhibits, tradeshows and conferences, mobile vehicle marketing, digital promotion, and interactive technology engagements. Along with a passion for design, you should possess strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of marketing best practices and processes. This is a full-time, exempt position working at Montage’s McLean, VA office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7+ years of agency, marketing/communications department, or in-house design studio experience.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Acrobat), and advanced competencies in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong acumen of design principles, typography, identity systems, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to synthesize complex marketing strategies to determine design needs and outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to to take ownership of assignments from start to finish and produce work that meets quality control expectations.
  • Proven experience in manage workflow processes, efficiencies, file management, and scheduling.
  • Track record of presenting creative concepts, verbal and written, to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to edit multimedia, motion graphics, animation, and rendering software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create internal and external full cycle design which may include: identity systems, digital and print campaigns, direct mail, infographics, social media graphics, storyboards, signage, video and web graphics, renderings, event materials, and more.
  • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and the ideation of emerging projects.
  • Produce proposals, presentations and pitch materials in support of business development.
  • Manage visual assets, including brand assets, photography, and raw video footage.
  • Coordinate with printers, developers, videographers/photographers and other vendors.
  • Collaborative attitude, willing to assist as needed.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including weekends/holidays.
  • Work cross-functionally across internal teams with a collaborative attitude willing to assist as needed,

  • Track company time accurately using the company’s internal time tracking system.
  • Other duties and business travel may be assigned from time to time.
